By bus: Saltaire is reachable by local bus on the Bradford to Keighley run. You're also okay getting off at Shipley as Saltaire is just a stone's throw away and in easy walking distance. Saltaire's a small place and doesn't have it's own bus station. The main bus route is located on Saltaire Road, which is the A650. The best place to get off the bus is the stop closest to Victoria Road. We do have our own train station though which is located opposite Salt's Mill on Victoria Road.

Travelling to Saltaire by car

Quick info:
Saltaire is approximately 4 miles north of Bradford in West Yorkshire. The motorway connections to Bradford are the M606 and the M62.

Tavelling by the M62
If you're travelling to Saltaire on the M62, leave the motorway at Junction 26 (signposted M606 Bradford, A58 Halifax). Leave the M606 at junction 3, then at roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A6177 (signposted Ring Road West, Hospitals) Entering Bradford. Follow the signs for Salts Mill. Salts Mill is well signposted and is just through Shipley on the A650.

Saltaire is reachable by METRO bus and train services.

Saltaire Railway Station
Saltaire's railways station is brilliantly placed opposite Salt's Mill on Victoria Road. Saltaire is on the Airedale Line (the red line) which runs from Leeds to Skipton and from Bradford Forster Square to Skipton.

Journey train times:

• From Leeds there is one stop at Shipley then Saltaire. Journey time: about 15 minutes.
• From Bradford Forster Square, the stops are: Frizinghall, Shipley, then Saltaire. Journey time: about 9 minutes on a direct train.
• From Skipton the stops are Cononley, Steeton and Silsden, Keighley, Crossflatts, Bingley, then Saltaire. Journey time: about 22 minutes.
