Dear Sir
I live in Hockney country - East Riding Wolds - and have long wanted to
visit your Hockney exhibition. It was a lovely day on Friday so, being a
long way from public transport, drove to Saltaire to fulfil this ambition.
I am a reasonably intelligent driver and well-travelled, but reaching the
exhibition almost defeated me - and took much of the pleasure out of the
visit.
I attach photos of the route I took from the car park to the Mill - and if
it had not been for the man in front who obviously knew the way, I doubt if
I would have ever had the courage to weave round the skips and No Through
Road signs, especially as a lone female.
After this visit I will definitely NOT recommend any visitors to visit your
site - it was the least friendly or helpful site I have ever visited.
