DAVID FORD'S BOOKSHOP

A bookshop is about to open in Saltaire, selling both new and secondhand books. It is situated on two floors at 217 Bingley Rd (near Saltaire roundabout, three doors down from the Deli). The ground floor will have comfortable seating and a cup of coffee available whilst you browse and downstairs will have secondhand books. We will have a full range of books but will
specialise particularly in young adult fiction, children's, poetry, graphic novels and a stock of harder to find novels. But a very full range will be available whether you are looking for cooking ideas, gardening ideas or textbooks. Ideal for presents at Christmas, we will also issue wish lists for parties and birthdays (so we do the work for you) and a rapid ordering system is available for new books. Drop in one day and get a book the next. We buy and sell secondhand books so please call in if you have any you wish to sell.

We are keen to encourage book related events – book groups, author readings, book reading events etc. Please contact David for further information or if you have ideas for the shop. We will be open until 8pm for events on Thursdays but flexible during the rest of the week too. Shop opening hours will probably be Tuesday – Saturday 9-5 and 10-8pm Thursday but these hours will be flexible to accommodate customers’ needs as far as possible. We are having a grand opening Saturday September 8th but shall probably be open from August 22nd.
