CONSULTATION IN THE PARK

HTLA Historic Landscape Consultants

Hilary Taylor Landscape Associates, appointed to draw up a restoration scheme for Roberts Park, are currently undertaking further discussions with local interest groups and individuals. The next open day for consultation will be July 3rd, 2.30-4pm and 6-7.30pm, when members of the design and client team will be available in the Half Moon Café to answer questions.

Jane Travis of HTLA comments: "We are aware that there are great concerns about the possibility of a bypass for Saltaire and that this is grabbing everyone's attention and energy. The restoration of Roberts Park would be a welcome improvement to the area and we need to engender good community involvement in the design development process to ensure a good bid."

Local people can also participate by completing a questionnaire, accessible via the Village website.
