Do we need the Saltaire Village Society?

When Saltaire Village Society (SVS) was set up over 20 twenty years ago to oppose plans to put a road through Roberts Park, little did anyone realise that not only would Saltaire go on to become a World Heritage Site, but that plans to build a road through Saltaire would come back to haunt Roberts Park. Do we still need the SVS? And if so, what should it focus on?

The current Committee of the SVS want to hear what you think. Please go to the online questionnaire and submit your responses. The Committee will be collating these and holding an open meeting (on Monday 19th March 2007 at 7.30pm at the Caroline Street Social Club) to discuss the future of the SVS.
