Run in Baildon

It’s time to get running!

This is the best time of year to start or restart your running - but often the hardest part of all is knowing how to get started, and joining a running club can be a daunting prospect for many. This is why we have a group aimed specifically at the complete beginner, those relatively new to running, and those who want to get back into running. Whatever your age, size, shape or ability you will be welcome - and no one ever gets left behind.

Why should I run?
Running is one of the least expensive and most effective ways to get and stay fit. It offers many benefits such as improved health, weight loss, increased energy and better sleep. After getting started and as your running fitness increases you may even be inspired and motivated to join one of the popular charity runs such as the Cancer Research "Race For Life", the "Race For All" or perhaps even the Bradford Half marathon! Come along and meet those who’ve already seen the benefits. If you already jog or run then you will realise the benefits of running with a group – it’s easier, more fun and a good way to make new friends.

Where and when will we meet?
Sessions take place on Saturday mornings at 10am and last one hour.
Our meeting point is the free public car park just before Titus Salt school, Higher Coach Road, Baildon, BD17 5RH.

We run in and around Roberts Park in Baildon where we have a safe and traffic free environment including the newly restored park, the Airedale Greenway canal towpath and a scenic riverbank trail.

Ready to give it a go?
Just turn up on a Saturday morning or contact for further information.
