SALTAIRE VINTAGE HOME AND FASHION FAIR
Saturday 5 July, Victoria Hall, from 9.30 am - 4 pm.

Dear Rose & Brown friends

I'm so looking forward to our third Saltaire Vintage Home & Fashion Fair which is next Saturday (5 July). Set in the beautiful Victoria Hall in Saltaire it starts at 9.30am and you have until 4pm to enjoy 25 stalls of vintage loveliness.

I'm particularly pleased to say that there will be lots of lovely homewares to accompany the rails upon rails of gorgeous vintage clothes. Some of the stalls will feature treasures such as kitchen gear, vintage toys, art deco collectables and old radios, so I do believe there will be some really great finds for vintage aficionados and happy browsers alike! As always there will be oodles of divine handbags and shoes, armfuls of jewellery and of course more frocks than you can shake a stick at!

Interlude who are Shipley's very own 1920s style tea room and emporium will be providing a taste of vintage with refreshments served from 10am. And to set the scene, all the music will be from the 1920s to the 1960s!

Tickets cost 3 pounds on the door, or 2 pounds in advance from The House of Rose & Brown. Group discounts and concessions are available too. Victoria Hall, Victoria Road, Saltaire BD18 3JS. Just up from the train station and with plenty of parking spaces nearby.

Come along wearing Rose & Brown vintage purchases, find me for a quick photo and earn an 'I Love Vintage' voucher worth 10% off to spend in Rose & Brown. Hope to see you there!

For a special treat this Thursday evening (3 July), why not join us at

RPM @yoyo for a night of live acoustic-based music and the coolest vintage vinyl, starting at 7.30pm.

Quality live music from:
THE GIRL WITH THE REPLACEABLE HEAD stark indie-pop
THE DELVAUX bastions of the noir-pop genre
WHITER THAN wistful acoustic indie nuggets

And records spun by DJ The Duke...from Dylan to Devo, Eddie Cochran to Kraftwerk, and from The Shangri-las to The Smiths, you never know which crackling gem The Duke will play next!

All at Yoyo Cafe Bar and Restaurant, Rosse St (Off Saltaire Road), Shipley BD18 3SW. Great food, lovely atmosphere and what about those cocktails?!

The first Thursday of every month - put it in your diary!

In case anyone was wondering whether the Rose & Brown online boutique had launched yet, needless to say there have been a few technical delays! A couple of more weeks and it should be ready, so don't forget to check out www.roseandbrownvintage.co.uk to see our lovely selection of vintage and handmade treasures online!

Finally, look out for our fashion show taking place during the Saltaire Festival. Saturday 20 September at Victoria Hall in Saltaire. Fancy helping out? modelling? or just coming along for the fun? Get in touch as soon as you can! More info to follow....

Look forward to seeing you for some vintage fun soon!
Best wishes
