Interested in Saltaire's history? Learn more about model villages like Saltaire. The Saltaire History Club has arranged a coach trip on Saturday 20 October 2007, to visit other places of interest which share some similarities with Saltaire. The trip will have a guide and we will visit :
- the model village at Copley,
- the Crossley Almshouses and People's Park,
- the village of Akroydon,
- and buildings not normally open to the public.

- The coach will pick up at 9 a.m. on Exhibition Road, outside Shipley College.
- We will return at 5.30 p.m. or before.
- You may want to bring a packed lunch.

The history club keeps in touch via our Chat Board on this website. Meetings are quarterly and take place in the Exhibition Building of Shipley College, Exhibition Road, Saltaire. There is no membership fee and everyone is welcome. Tea and coffee 50p.
