It's pretty challenging and a bit spooky to visit these places. Hope the stories aren't true.

What or whom are you trying to mock? And, by all means reveal any evidence to the contrary for absence of evidence is not evidence of absence, though that may not be the case!
I feel that you are jeering at something here Peter, given your replies made specifically to my posts. Do you consider yourself otherwise informed or an upholder of a 'preferred' heritage of Saltaire? (Please provide sources.)
You could enlighten the rest of us as to your profound knowledge (with no disrespect) as 'alternative' opinion does not apparently sit well with you.
Maybe you consider yourself a reincarnation or have undergone hypnotic regression and know each and every detail, if so, enlighten us.
As stated, I mean you no disrespect, but given your posts assume either superior understanding or otherwise unjustified humour, at least support your case with reason and evidence.
C'mon man, lighten up! Respect the difference and create harmony. Where would we be if we all assumed the same vantage point?
Insh'Allah, bukra, malish.

For sure its real, some times the organ in the great house was heard to make sounds by its self, some say it was wind from the cellars blowing upwards, some say it was the maker of it who died when putting it in at Milner fields his name was carved into one of the organ pipes, but the organ was sold to some one in the USA is it still making sounds? plus have you seen the green moss covering the stones up there? the sounds from the pipes of Pan are made by a lot of wind, is this reply a lot of wind?
`the snow melts quickly in haunted places` mediums say & I`ve noticed not much snow about in the stones up there

Th Green Ghost, haunts large houses & castles in Scotland & Wales perhaps he/she passes through the ruins of The Milner Fields estate, as it was a large house, for a rest on the travels from Scotland to Wales. Also there is a lot of Copper in the area around Baildon that was mined years ago, & copper turns Green after time. So he/she would feel at home in this area. Titus jr`s favorite colour was also Green.
So you never know, keep your Green eyes open, a lot of people think that the area is haunted . I will do some more research into it

I am posting again on a new topic because it struck me that the 'Green Ghost' with the flute could be likened to the ancient God Pan. The term 'panic' comes from 'Pan' as do 'Pan Pipes' etc. The God, Pan, is supposed, among other things, to be able to induce panic, where the word comes from. I appreciate that those who are not interested in Paganism may not be interested in this topic, but I feel that there are other energies afoot at Milner Field that are rooted in the earth magnetics of the area it was built. Who does anyone else think the 'Green Ghost' is?
