I hope you had a lovely Christmas. Things are quietening down for us now - so chance to relax a little.
I got a telephoto zoom lens for my camera. Fab!! It was a big foggy, but we got some good shots of ducks on the canal!

A leader article about Saltaire got printed on Saturday, but I couldn't find an actual story as such.

That's really kind Jon, thank you. Just had a phone call this evening from BBC Radio Leeds and David Worsley (David and wife, Victoria organised the Advent Calendar in Saltaire) has had a short telephone interview - though it all happened so fast, not sure if it will be broadcast tonight or ever!
Yorkshire TV haven't picked it up, which is a shame too. I think it's a fabulous Christmas story and there aren't that many World Heritage Sites in Yorkshire, let's face it!

I've heard that the story has been dropped. It was supposed to appear in the newspaper on Monday - and the photographer came round when it was still light - or at least, not that dark -- so perhaps the photos weren't that great??? :?
It's a shame. Never mind. We've made some enquiries with Yorkshire Television to see if they're interested in the story. It would be great if they followed through. Fingers crossed everyone.

I've just heard that the Guardian is doing a photo feature on the Living Advent Calendar. I think Victoria and David Worsley of Victoria Road are responsible for this - bless them!
It's given me a great opportunity to plug the Village!:yoyo
That's an early Christmas present. Fab!!!
