As part of the Saltaire Festival this year, the Saltaire Festival Arts Group would like about 10 residents to open their houses as art galleries. This is something that works extremely well in Brighton where they have been doing this for a number of years at their festival. We are wanting to create wonderful environments for exhibiting and selling fine art and craft: the paintings on the wall, the cushions on the sofa, the cups and saucers on the kitchen table, would all be for sale.
The dates would be the weekends of the 8th/9th and 15th/16th September. Opening times would be to suit you. All insurance, personal liability and damage to artworks, would be paid for by us. You can keep a percentage of the sales in your house and if you provide tea and cakes, you can keep those profits too!
