Marcia Brown - Visual Artist

Marcia's art practice consists of an enquiry into the relationship between colour/painting/sacred geometry and the guitar. Her paintings are inspired by Ethiopian Art, Roots Reggae music, Biblical Prophecy and Amarnan Egyptian Art. Truth is sought through the word, sound, power of King David's Royal Music and Musicians. The eye of the mystic and biblical prophecy serve as the supreme basis for some of her creations. Oil paint, surface of the guitar, and musical notes are vehicles for alchemical mixes that reflect painted sound, light and colour.
